2:10 Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.   2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.

A THANKSGIVING PRAYER

Happy Holiday Hellday. Make sure to get a pilgrim and pimp slap their wife and make them wobble wobble all over the place. Should I give thanks for the native indians being killed and cooking a turkey afterwards to celebrate? or should I celebrate thanksgiving because its truly the day of being thankful? I think any time we get together with our family its something we cherish. So let’s eat and thank our historys sacrafice to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Mega bebe.

BLACK SCALE : The truth in 5 elements

“If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.”
- Free Mason

No introduction needed. The 5th Column recalls a séance with Mega of the mighty Black Scale:

These are my opinions and everything stated here are not facts by any means.

I. Balance = We are born and it takes two to raise a child. That’s why it takes two to make one. They work together and find ways to balance this child’s life so the child has a strong upbringing. For this child to succeed and be happy.

II. War = The child grows up and becomes independent, from this he or she finds obstacles that makes life not so easy. They learn own their own and teach themselves about survival.

III. Peace = The gratification of working hard and finding ways to step out of reality. We are our own worst enemy and sometimes we just want to step out of bounds and free ourselves from all the crazy shit that goes on in this lifetime. We find peace with ourselves and sometimes it’s up to us to find it.

IV. Love = Love is not only for the opposite sex. It’s also for the things we simply cherish and enjoy.

V. Hate = HATE. It’s everywhere. It’s what makes the world go round. Without hate life would be boring and there would not be anything to fix. It’s a everyday obstacle we face and we have to accept it. Hate causes harm and it may even lead to death.

The five concepts all lead to balance and without balance life wouldn’t be as great as it is. We all go through these concepts on a daily with ourselves and we find ourselves ruling each concept, if we couldn’t rule each concept than life would be more difficult then it is. Pain is inevitable, Suffering is optional.

America is a rebellious nation. Our whole history is treason; our blood was attained before we were born; our creeds were infidelity to the mother church; our constitution treason to our fatherland.

On 22 September 2004, ten prisoners were brought from Afghanistan. In July 2005, 242 detainees were moved out of Guantánamo, including 173 that were released without charge, and 69 transferred to the governments of other countries, according to the United States Department of Defense. By November 2005, 358 of the 505 detainees held at Guantánamo Bay had had Administrative Review Board hearings. Of these, 3% were granted and were awaiting release, 20% were to be transferred, 37% were to be further detained at Guantánamo, and no decision had been made in 40% of the cases. Of the 505 detainees, 100 or more are from Saudi Arabia, about 80 from Yemen, about 65 from Pakistan, about 50 from Afghanistan and two from Syria.

Away & Anywhere

Filed under: Music — thesatur @ 2:56 am

I do dream you
Allow me to believe you are the real me
I see you breathing under water
See you on both sides of a door
I didn’t mean you to fathom what you bought
I’m away and anywhere to suffice
Every life filled with what will be
If my own will is from me
How do I take another mirror
How do I drink the whole shore
I do greet you
And slam the door in your face
You come in anyways
It’s a long, long time before this takes place
I answer these questions now
As to why I’m the only one
Who carries answers to their fathers
Who carries gray sky to the sun
I’m not the railway
I leave all of it to the air
Passing highway’s traffic just lying there
Carry me away
Come in anyways
Both sides of the door
The closed and open door

VARICELLA HERPES ZOSTER

Filed under: Biology — thesatur @ 3:39 pm

herpes-zoster-varicella.jpg

A skin rash of blister-like lesions, covering the body but usually more concentrated on the face, scalp, and trunk. Most, but not all, infected individuals have fever, which develops just before or when the rash appears. If exposed, persons who have been vaccinated against the disease may get a milder illness, with less severe rash (sometimes involving only a few red bumps that look similar to insect bites) and mild or no fever.

Bacterial infection of the skin, swelling of the brain, and pneumonia. Adolescents and adults are more at risk for severe disease.

Spread by coughing and sneezing (highly contagious), by direct contact, and by aerosolization of virus from skin lesions.

LEEWAY - BE LOUD

Filed under: Music — thesatur @ 1:58 am

Chaos in the crowd
Racing in sound
Try to find the answers
That can never be found
Not living a lie
Not the one who is blind
Being happy and content
With my own mind

Loud
Got to be loud
You have to take control
Play it fast
Got to be loud

Fuck what is old
Take what is bold
Better being alive than being dead cold
Lying to parents just to get by
Oh fuck, I lost my lines
This is the future
Don’t look at the past
Smoke - Get blown and have a blast
Being happy and content is what it’s all about
Being fast - being loud

Wild in the city
Is everybody with me?
Everybody’s trying just to keep above the water
Your life is a go, what do they know?
Better being alive than being dead cold

we press right on and set the inauspicious

 Iuppiter omnipotens, audacibus adnue cœptis

111108_3221.jpg

The Age of Enlightenment or The Enlightenment is a term used to describe a phase in Western philosophy and cultural life centered upon the eighteenth century, in which Reason was advocated as the primary source and basis of authority. Developing in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Britain, the movement spread through much of Europe, including Russia and Scandinavia. The signatories of the American Declaration of Independence, the United States Bill of Rights and the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen were motivated by “Enlightenment” principles (although the English Bill of Rights predates the era).

The intellectual and philosophical developments of that age (and their impact in moral and social reform) aspired towards governmental consolidation, centralization and primacy of the nation-state, and greater rights for common people. There was also a strong attempt to supplant the authority of aristocracy and established churches in social and political life: forces that were viewed as reactionary, oppressive and superstitious.

The term came into use in English during the mid-nineteenth century, with particular reference to French philosophy, as the equivalent of a term then in use by German writers, Zeitalter der Aufklärung, signifying generally the philosophical outlook of the eighteenth century.

The terminology Enlightenment or Age of Enlightenment does not represent a single movement or school of thought, for these philosophies were often mutually contradictory or divergent. The Enlightenment was less a set of ideas than it was a set of attitudes. At its core was a critical questioning of traditional institutions, customs, and morals. Some classifications of this period also include the late 17th century, which is typically known as the Age of Reason or Age of Rationalism.

There is no consensus on when to date the start of the age of Enlightenment, and some scholars simply use the beginning of the eighteenth century or the middle of the seventeenth century as a default date. If taken back to the mid-1600’s, the Enlightenment would trace its origins to Descartes’ Discourse on the Method, published in 1637. At the other end, many scholars use the beginning of the Napoleonic Wars (1804–15) as a convenient point in time with which to date the end of the Enlightenment.[4] Still others describe the Enlightenment beginning in Britain’s Glorious Revolution of 1688 and ending in the French Revolution of 1789. However, others also claim the Enlightenment ended with the death of Voltaire in 1778.

DIVIDE & CONQUER : INTRODUCING THE AMERICAN EXPRESS BANK

Filed under: Illuminate, Economics, Government — thesatur @ 3:55 am

nncamexcardb.jpg

NEW YORK(CNNMoney.com) — Seeking shelter amid a global credit crunch and consumer spending slowdown, American Express announced Monday it is becoming a bank.

The Federal Reserve, using emergency power to act swiftly, granted approval for AmEx and American Express Travel Related Services to become bank holding companies.

The move will give AmEx the ability to grow its deposits — a more stable form of funding — and provide it greater access to Fed funding and government rescue programs.

“Given the continued volatility in the financial markets, we want to be best positioned to take advantage of the various programs the federal government has introduced or may introduce to support U.S. financial institutions,” said Chief Executive Kenneth Chenault in a statement.

The company currently operates a small bank, American Express Centurion Bank, as well as a savings and loan, American Express Bank, which together have just over $50 billion in assets and $14.4 billion in deposits. They offer mainly credit cards, loans and certificates of deposit, the company said.

“We will continue to build a larger deposit base to broaden our funding sources,” said Chenault. “With Federal Reserve oversight we should gain greater access to the capital on offer under the current and any future government-sponsored programs.”

The Federal Reserve uses three main tools to implement monetary policy: open market operations, the discount window and reserve requirements. The most important and dynamic tool is open market operations.
